but this is a little concerning. he really does like his dads all right, even if they're a little much sometimes (all the time), but-- kissing them doesn't sound like a thing he really wants to do, but ratio's making it sound like he doesn't have a choice??
he kind of starts to panic when ratio takes him by the face, but then the kiss lands on his forehead instead of his mouth and while it's a bit foreign, it's certainly not a kiss on the mouth. thank god. he can't help but breathe a very small sigh of relief. he's definitely confused and red and kind of wanting to like, close up on himself a little, but it could have been way worse.]

FAMBLY CHRISTMAS PART 2: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO
Date: 2015-12-28 04:49 am (UTC)obviously, birthday and ratio are absolutely nothing like his actual parents, but lately the, uh... family bonding that birthday in particular has seemed awfully keen on has been kind of nice, actually. he really hadn't known what to make of the pair of them initially, but now, as he's looking at that dumb #1 son on the tag, he's realizing that he's grown quite fond of them.
when he leaves his room again, ready to start his day, new batting gloves and water bottle tucked into his bag, he has another mix cd; the track list is shorter than the other cds he's made, since it was completely off the cuff, but it's thoughtful and perhaps even heartfelt-- it's hard to find music that communicates I appreciate you as my guardian, but he's done his best. he feels a little bad that he doesn't have something for each of them individually (originally there'd been a card), but he thinks it might be okay in the end.
the cd is left out where either (or both) parent could easily find it. the label on it reads #1 dads.]
