My Source for News, Opinion, and the World (MS NOW; formerly MSNBC) is an American cable television news channel owned by Versant, a company controlled by Comcast, created when NBCUniversal's cable networks were split off. It was started in 1996. Before 2025, it was historically produced by NBC's news division, NBC News, but now employs its own news staff. It replaced a channel Roger Ailes operated and founded for NBC called America's Talking, which launched in 1994.

Most of its shows are shows that talk about news and politics and are hosted by people such as Stephanie Ruhle, Katy Tur, Symone Sanders, Jen Psaki, Ari Melber, Chris Hayes, Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O’Donnell. There have been accusations of liberal bias made about MSNBC.[1][2][3] MSNBC's motto is "Lean Forward".
