ITP Renly and Loras dance like sweethearts and have more fluffy sex
[Robert is throwing another grand feast in a few hours. Renly can't quite remember why, possibly it's Joffrey's name day, but Renly never paid much attention to that one beyond laughing at him in court. If it is, Ser Cortnay will have seen to it that a present will be sent, but it's also possible this is about some large animal Robert killed, or because he simply felt like having an excuse to be drunk. Renly hasn't been on the Small Council for long, hasn't been in King's Landing for too terribly long, but he's learning how things work here. Frankly, he can't say he enjoys it. He'd much rather be home at Storm's End, having a nice dinner with the men or taking a picnic out to his and Loras's secret spot.
At least Loras is here to ease the pain of being in this terrible city. Everything is more bearable with him at Renly's side.
They're in Renly's airy rooms in the manse toward the outskirts of the city where it's cleaner and the stench doesn't hang over it quite so much. He'd been offered chambers in the Red Keep, but it's much more difficult to be discreet there, with so many eyes and ears drifting around, reporting to the Spider or to Littlefinger. Loras certainly couldn't prepare for the occasion with Renly if they were staying at the Red Keep, but here at his little household in the city, Brella keeps the servants in line and not a word escapes here.
He's currently standing in front of the full length mirror in shirt and breeches, trying on yet another doublet with intricate gold clasps, trying firmly not to think about what will be expected of them tonight when they leave the house.] What do you think, love? The green and gold brocade, or the blue wool?

Eventually we'll do a thread that isn't porn
Well I do enjoy the way you look in green and gold. [Because they're Tyrell colors and he is the tiniest bit possessive] But truly you look just as good in anything.
One of these days. Maybe.
Perhaps this one, then, so I do not have to worry about constantly catching your eye during the feast. Both my brothers will be there, as will the rest of the Small Council, no doubt. Robert does not notice subtleties unless you shove them in his face, but the others...
Probably not lbr
You'll have to worry about that regardless of what you wear. I would notice you even in grey. [A laugh follows and he flops back to look up at the ceiling] Ah yes, I forgot that the Lobster Lord was coming in from Dragonstone for this feast. No doubt he'll be too busy taking offense with everything everyone around him does to notice anything.
...Yeah probably not
Yes, and sadly, I'll be one of the ones whose actions he finds offensive, no doubt. Unlike the people at Storm's End, he'll find it suspicious if I do not dance with women and talk to the other lords' unwed daughters. [A thought which he finds distasteful, judging from the wrinkling of his nose as he says it, but then his expression smooths out as he watches Loras's reflection in the mirror, and his voice quiets a little as he admits,]
Just once, I'd like to be able to dance with you, in front of everyone. To an actual love song, not a pretend-drunken jape of a dance to The Bear and the Maiden Fair for the hundredth time.
no subject
I'll have to as well. Though Garlan and Leonette will be there. I can always steal her for a dance or two. She's rather pleasant. You could steal her too. Garlan will not mind. And there's Mother and Father. I can most certainly get away with dancing with my own mother. If only Margaery had come. I could dance with her once or twice and we could mock the other lords under our breathe as we usually do. [He's not a fan of the idea either. He's good at talking to women and dancing is fun but after a while the whole courtly thing starts to get on his nerves]
Gods, I hate that song. [His expression softens though and he props himself up to look at Renly] I know, love. But I do not think there will come a time where we are allowed to do that.
no subject
No, likely not, but I do wish. [He picks up a golden stag pin from the ornate box on the dressing table and pins it to his front, then turns around to face Loras, smile a little softer but a touch teasing.] If we ran away to the Free Cities we could dance to our hearts' content. How do I look?
no subject
If we ran away to the Free Cities, Stannis would get Storm's End. And my father would send an army out to look for me. [He smiles, standing and going over to Renly] Perfect. As always.
no subject
I could never give up Storm's End, I know, but it's all so tiring sometimes, having to hide here. I hate this stinking city. [But he can't muster up much ire when Loras is there, looking lovely in white, like he's already Kingsguard. Renly steps a little closer, settles his hands on his waist and smiles down at him.] How about a dance before we leave?
no subject
Alright. We'll just pretend there's a song playing. And you had best not make any jokes about me being the maiden.
no subject
I can hum if you'd like. [A playful smile as he curls an arm around him and takes one of his hands in his other.] Why not? You certainly have the hair to be the maiden. You have such beautiful curls.
no subject
I would rather you did not. You're terribly tone deaf. [He rolls his eyes, settling his free hand on Renly's shoulder] You're funny. Need I remind you how easy it is for me to put you flat on your back?
no subject
Renly laughs a little as he starts to sway them gently, feet starting to move with a grace he's never had on the tourney field or in the practice yard. Dancing he can do, and he's quite good at it.] Is that a promise? I do so love it when you put me flat on my back.
no subject
I'll consider it. [He presses close to Renly, moving along with him]
no subject
Or perhaps I could put you on your back.
no subject
I think I could be very alright with that as well.
no subject
Could you? We do have some time before we need to leave, still.
no subject
Considering you're the only one I would ever willingly let do it, yes.
no subject
You always tease me about being a terrible knight, but- [His smile grows a little wicked as he whispers against his ear,] Would you like to see how well I can ride?
no subject
I would. Perhaps you can manage not to fall off like you always do a horse.
no subject
Oh, I think I can manage when no one is trying to knock me off.
no subject
Considering such a thing would not benefit me at all, I do not think it will be happening.
no subject
Then I imagine I shall do just fine at this, at least.
no subject
It would be embarrassing otherwise.
no subject
He stifles a little moan when he feels Loras's teeth at his bottom lip and starts tugging his lover's doublet down his shoulders, sliding easily to his knees between his thighs.] Did I ever mention how beautiful you are in white?
no subject
[He shrugs the doublet the rest of the way off, letting it fall to the floor as he reaches for the laces of Renly's] You have. Several times. You have said before that green, white and gold look the best on me.
