In which Colleen is a supportive friend
[Danny spent his money in dumb ways. Colleen had known this for years and was not at all surprised. This time, though, he had managed to get himself into trouble. Big trouble. She also wasn't surprised by that. What she was surprised by was the solution that he had reached to solve his problem. It involved marriage and Colleen still wasn't clear on how that would solve anything. But it would. Apparently.
Specifically, it involved marriage to Luke. Now that gay marriage was legal in New York, it was an easy enough thing. And actually it even made sense that he would pick Luke. Asking Misty would have been awkward since they were on yet another break. Colleen would have punched him in the throat if he had asked her. Luke was his only option left. So maybe she wasn't that surprised at all that this had happened. Danny was dumb and had dumb ideas. Luke supported his dumb ideas because he was just as dumb.
She still wasn't sure why they had asked her to be their witness. She hadn't been able to stop laughing since they told her. In fact, as she stood in Danny's kitchen, staring down at the blank marriage license on the counter, she started laughing all over again]
Oh my God, you two. This is really happening. I can't- [Nope, doubled over laughing with her head on the counter. She's done]
