Well, from what I understand, these people here have abducted us and plenty of other persons. While I would like to think them all trustworthy people, it still wouldn't do much for me if people knew that I was a princess. I'd have nothing to benefit but should someone decide that it'd be a good idea to use my status as leverage over my kingdom somehow, since I refuse to believe it's actually destroyed, then it'd be an issue.

I don't know how much our captors know about our lives and if they're privy to my heritage themselves, but I'd simply rather it not be a point of discussion.

Does that make sense?

[There's a number of people he needs to thank for restraining his possessed body during that week of misery and hell, once he wakes up fully in control of his body once again. While he's never been good at verbal gratitude, he can at the very least make something material. In Tana's case, it ends up being a small box of pawprint cookies, arranged carefully in a box and placed into her mailbox.
