18 chickens and two roosters just arrived here today. We are now, officially, in the egg business. Not in any big way, mind you. We just became concerned about the additives and drugs fed to chickens, not to mention the treatment of battery chickens, and we know our neighbors feel the same. So we've built a little chicken house and we'll use our own eggs from now on and sell the remainders at the market.
All good and well, except...
IT TURNS OUT I'M REALLY SCARED OF CHICKENS!!!!!
I had no idea, until they arrived and started pecking all over the place! They have claws and really sharp beaks and they look at me like they're PLANNING SOMETHING!
I'm gonna need to get over this one fast, huh?
