I'm a terrible cook when it comes to dinners. And lunches. I can manage breakfasts. But desserts, I'm good at. I live on a dairy farm, I keep bees for make-your-own honey and I teach small children who love me forever when I bring cookies, so learning sweets was kinda inevitable. Still, it's a new skill.
So I was insanely flattered when my friend asked me to provide my cappuchino-spice frosting for her wedding cake. The one problem was that some of her guests are vegan and the trick to the frosting is heavy cream.
So I tried rice milk (no) and soy milk (HELL NO). So, in desperation, today I tried coconut milk.
THAT IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN ANYTHING ELSE HAS EVER BEEN SINCE THE BEGINNING OF FOOD. It's not just as good as the original, it kicks the original's ass like they're in an alley and it just learned the original is going to say yes to Michael. It's amazing.
Does anyone want some? I'll send it out. It's just so scrummy!!!
