When we got engaged, Masashi didn't get me a ring. It was kind of a spur of the moment proposal (we were playing with puppies, he said "marry me", I said "okay").We MEANT to get one, but when we went ring shopping I fell in love with this antique silver mirror and we could only afford one thing. I really wanted the mirror, and so my "engagement mirror" remains on my dressing table until this day.
But he wants to get me a ring now, and I'm all about that! But I know I don't want a traditional diamond; they're gorgeous but very not-me. I'm thinking of an uncut diamond, but I'm not entirely sure yet.
Does anyone know where to find reliable uncut-diamond jewelry or other alternative engagement-type rings on the web? We're going to have to order online, because 99% of rings here are made for dainty Japanese hands and not my giant paws! Any suggestions?
