Let me tell you a story.
So there was this kid, he played baseball. Then one day, he broke his arm and nearly pitched himself from a roof until another boy, who got shot by his tutor--who's a baby--and sprung a slinky from his head, saved him. So they became friends! The kid was destined to be a mafia boss against all odds (really, ALL ODDS). Ten years and a sociopathic illusionist turned guardian, an internal family revolt, and a battle for the fate of the world against a marshmallow-eating, deranged lunatic bent on world conquest sporting magical, sparkling shoujo!wings later, the kid has grown up to become a wicked swordsman in the service of the boy that grew up to be the 10th boss of the strongest mafia family in the world. And then he got zapped to the past (except he woke up here).
