Very haunting music, mostly string instruments with some tinkling piano in the background, plays over the trailer, which is otherwise silent.

Scene shows a medieval castle courtyard. A large group of people are shouting and waving as Joanna and Philip ride through them, smiling benevolently and nodding their heads regally.

Scene shows a number of guardsmen with pikes in an otherwise empty courtyard, while the Royal Entourage walks through.

Philip rides regally on horseback. Joanna walks through a corridor lined with courtiers, looking nervous. Philip pulls back his bow to launch and arrow. Men on horseback ride out of the castle at night, lit only by torches.

Joanna looks horrified while someone (Philip? kisses her full on the mouth in front of a room of people. Armed men approach a castle. Joanna looks frightened and intrigued as someone (Philip?) hands her something (a ring?).

Philip carries Joanna into their nuptial bedchamber. Philip sniffs and kisses the neck of Ines de Brabante, one of the ladies of the court. Joanna looks vaguely horrified while having sex with Philip. Joanna waves and throws kisses good-bye at an unseen person. Philip turns around, revealing the throne behind him. Philip walks around shirtless and looking very very fine. Joanna lays back on the royal bed.

Joanna kneels on the ground in front of a fireplace, sobbing uncontrollably. Joanna screams uncontrollably in the courtyard while the rain comes down. Joanna throws all the plates off a table, glaring at Philip, who looks on impassively. The throngs of people wave and cheer at the castle walls while Joanna looks on. Joanna is crowned Queen of Castile. Joanna threateningly opens a pair of scissors while Ines de Brabante looks terrified. Joanna looks at the ring Philip gave her at their marriage like it's the last real thing in her life. Men on horseback ride quickly through a forest. Aixa, described in Wikipedia as a "Moorish Prostitute", "belly dances" for Philip. A woman with heavily-made up eyes stares through a coin. Joanna is barred from entering (or leaving?) the courtyard. Joanna runs down the stairs to see Philip, looking joyful. Philip kisses Joanna's neck. Joanna, apparently naked, looks up another person's naked body (probably Philip). Court dancing. A shadowed love scene between a man and a woman. Joanna kisses Philip while he stands looking impassive. Joanna gets a sword and starts threatening her ladies with it. A love scene that may be of Philip and Aixa. Another love scene of Joanna being laid down on her marriage bed. Arrows hitting a target.
