[Well this...sure is a text at an ungodly hour of the morning. 3 o'clock, to be exact. Cold enough for everyone this fine evening?]

I don't expect anyone to actually be awake at this time of night, but I figured that if I wasn't going to be getting any more sleep any time soon I may as well check and see who else is suffering from insomnia at the moment.

[Now, see, Nagi is used to pulling all nighters, so usually this wouldn't be a problem...if it weren't for the fact that he's actually interested in sleeping off the stress that the past event in Kalos handed to him.

And he wouldn't be awake right now if it weren't for a good reason.]

Speaking of which, for those who are awake: is anyone here familiar with Pokemon who are known to eat dreams?

I have a Pokémon that I encourage to do that, actually. The species is known for it, but I consider it a good thing.

I assume it helps you to sleep, in your case?

Usually! If it wakes me up at all, it's because my brother wasn't expecting her and smacks her off in the middle of the night. She's good at what she does, though.

Honestly, feeling mine stuck to the back of my head was enough to startle me awake.

[Nagi, like most psychics, don't do well with people- or anything- messing with their heads. So having this happen out of the blue startled him to the point where he's too restless to actually sleep with the pink thing hovering too close to his ears.]

Mine is working too well, actually. Finding it sleeping on my head was what woke me to begin with.

[Blake feels like a wise old veteran.] Yeah, you have to make sure to get them stuck in their ball for the night. Otherwise, you wake up with it stuck to you like a showercap, especially if you've been having lousy dreams.

[Onscreen, the Dewgong boys are having it out with Boss Emboar. Blake's Mightyena snores softly with its head laying on his leg.]

Is there any particular reason they find bad dreams more appealing?

Do you mean like the move Dream Eater or that it can actually actively eat dreams?

I'm fairly certain this Pokemon knows that move, but according to the Pokedex they are known to eat dreams as a species trait, regardless.

It certainly isn't early for sleeping, as far as that goes. I don't usually mind staying up, but I was actually interested in getting some sleep tonight.
