Getting the unpleasantness out of the way first, please do not write me fic that focuses on or features any of the following: Rape/non-con/dub-con or aftermath, sexual assault or aftermath, slavery or aftermath, character death, permanent injury or mutilation, torture or aftermath, child abuse or aftermath, imprisonment/kidnap or aftermath, mpreg, cheating (polyamory is fab and honesty is important), trans headcanons (no offence anon author, there are very few authors I trust to write trans characters), plague or pandemic settings. General likes
In general, I like characters being kind and considerate of each other, if not always of themselves. I'm not in any way averse to smut or light kink, and I'm in awe of anyone who can write plot. I like characters learning about themselves and each other. I love found families and families of choice, characters supporting each other and calling each other out when they screw up then helping them be better. I love characters accepting each other and themselves and finding places and friends and families and relationships where they can be accepted and express themselves freely. I like AUs in RPF particularly, and sometimes in fictional fandoms if the relationships between the characters and their new setting have similar dynamics to the original setting. I'm happy with PWP or plot or slice of life, any rating from G through to E. (I'm well over 18.)

I love that Band Sinister is such a cuddle of a book. I love the emphasis on acceptance and people having value for who they are. I love the acknowledgment that love for different people can manifest in different ways and still be a valid way to love. I love the canon poly relationship between John, Corvin and Philip. I love Guy finding confidence in himself and his desirse. I love Corvin being flippant as anything and caring so deeply underneath. I love John's steadiness and his refusal to stand for Corvin's shit. I love Philip's warmth and how willing he is to discover and reassess himself as he learns about other people.

Three very different pairings and three very different dynamics! For Marlowe/Southwell I'm all about the priest kink (blame Marlowe naked on his knees at the Father's feet) but if you'd rather write something about Kit's feelings of betrayal after Southwell abandons Alice to her fate or about the clash between Southwell's faith and Kit's atheism/nihilism during Kit's quest to meet God, that could be fascinating. For Kit/Thomas I'd love to see where they go after canon - does Tommy ever hurt Kit? Does Kit leave himself vulnerable enough for that? How does their romance work around Kit's work for Tommy's uncle? For Kit/Will, it's all about the rivalry that Will doesn't seem to notice existing - does Will go to see Faustus? What does Kit think of Will's next play? How does their relationship change after Kit enables Will's rescue of Alice and then Alice's departure? And of course the classic does Will ever go back to Kit to acknowledge what he wants?
