Introduction
Mar. 17th, 2010 03:26 pmI'm the former leader and main front of
mythochromos; the "main front" part started changing when we became selves-aware and I gladly handed off leadership to my half-sister,
shaynin, a few months ago.
In the lifetime I best remember, I was a pawn in elvan politics, named heir to Cayraydu (commonly spelled "Cereda" before) despite my incompetence - I was severely mentally ill - to add another body between her and the rivals for her title. My people knew no way to make me well and I had no real power over even myself. Modern human psychological interventions are a wonderful thing.
When the time came, here, I held onto what power I had jealously; looking back, it gives me new empathy for Cayraydu. I've changed from having a strong professional focus, a strong identification with our work and professionals studies, and a fear of losing even the forms of control over myself and our body that scare me, to...well, being a great deal more flexible and happy.
Most of us in House Hesson itself don't have defined roles. I, however, am still the primary runeworker and journeyworker as I have been throughout the history of our selves-awareness and am teaching others to take on some of that work.
