Requirements

πŸ› οΈ What to Build

Participants must build a functional prototype, tool, or solution that addresses a problem or opportunity in the field of education. Projects should align with at least one of the hackathon tracks, such as:

  • AI in Education

  • Learning Accessibility

  • Gamified Learning

  • Tools for Teachers

  • Student Productivity & Wellness

You can use any programming language, tools, or frameworks. Your solution can be a web app, mobile app, software tool, or any other tech-based project. The focus should be on innovation, relevance to education, and potential impact.

πŸ“€ What to Submit

To be eligible for judging, your submission on Devpost must include:

  1. Project Title and Description

    • A clear explanation of your project, what problem it solves, and how it works.

  2. Demo Video (Required)

    • A 2–3 minute video (hosted on YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) demonstrating your project in action.

    • Make sure to explain the key features and user flow.

  3. Working Code Repository (e.g., GitHub) (Optional)

    • Share a public link to your code repository.

    • Ensure it includes instructions to run or test the project.

  4. Screenshots or Mockups (Optional but recommended)

    • Upload visuals to help illustrate your project and user interface.

  5. Team Information

    • List all team members who worked on the project.

  6. Devpost Submission Form

    • Make sure all required fields on Devpost are completed before the deadline.

  • Educational Impact
    How effectively does the project solve a real-world problem in education? Does it improve learning, teaching, accessibility, or engagement?
  • Innovation & Creativity
    Is the idea original, fresh, or a new take on an existing solution? Does it demonstrate creative thinking in how it addresses the problem?
  • Functionality
    Does the project actually work as intended? Is it technically sound and usable? Bonus points for features beyond an MVP.
  • Submission Completeness & Timeliness
    Was the project submitted on time with all required components (demo video, code, description, etc.)?
