We’re excited to welcome hackers from around the world to VirtuHack! Please read the following rules carefully before participating. These ensure a fair, fun, and impactful hackathon for everyone involved.

πŸ—“οΈ Hackathon Dates
  • Submissions Open: September 9, 2025

  • Submission Deadline: September 25, 2025 (11:59 PM UTC)

  • No late submissions will be accepted after the deadline.

🌍 Eligibility
  • Open to all. There are no restrictions based on age, location, or experience level.

  • You can participate individually or in teams (up to 4 members recommended).

  • All submissions must be original and created during the hackathon period.

πŸ› οΈ Project and Submission Requirements
  • Build a project related to education or learning.

  • Submit a project description, demo video, and code repository via Devpost.

  • Projects must be submitted before the deadline to be eligible for prizes.

Note: A project may not win multiple prizes. Final prize amounts are in USD.

🧠 Judging Criteria & Winner Selection

Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges selected by the VirtuHack organizers. Projects will be judged based on the following criteria:

  1. Educational Impact (30%) – How effectively does the project solve a real problem in education?

  2. Innovation & Creativity (25%) – Is the idea original or does it introduce a new perspective?

  3. Functionality (20%) – Does the project work as intended? Is it usable?

  4. Presentation & Demo (15%) – Is the explanation clear? Does the video showcase the project effectively?

  5. Timely Submission (10%) – Was the project submitted before the deadline, with all required materials?

Judges' decisions are final.

  • All participants must comply with applicable laws and respect intellectual property rights.

  • Projects must be the original work of the team.

  • By submitting, you agree to allow the organizers to feature your work publicly (with proper credit).

  • Plagiarism, hate speech, or harmful content will result in immediate disqualification.
