Parasomnia: An Epilogue for Evillious
The eerie mansion is silent when the sorceress finally arrives with Platonic. There isn't a sound to be heard that isn't the old creaks of an old building. They search, and search, and search, but there is no sign of the cannibalistic noble. There is no sign of her chef or the monstrous twin maid and butler. As they search, it is clear there is no sign of anyone being here. After awhile, they come to a room deep within the castle together.
"...It's strange. Did she flee? But then why is this..." Elluka muses over the sight they have found, arms crossed over her chest. Platonic creeps forward, peering down at it and frowning. While it makes her job easier, she was prepared for a fight. Instead, there is nothing. She hesitantly looks around, as if expecting to be jumped at any moment or to hear some kind of alarming sound.
"I don't know why she'd flee and leave this behind. I-It doesn't make sense!" the phantom thief finally comments, puzzled. She scratches her head, fingers digging into her scalp beneath her green hair. Elluka just sighs and shrug. Their job is easy now, and her report to the Empress of Beelzenia is going to be extremely short. It seems their cannibal problem has become someone else's problem now.
For the only sign left of Conchita even existing in this space is the red-stained wineglass sitting alone next to an empty but clean plate.
