This hands-on session will guide you through the basics of accessibility for document creation. The session will begin with an overview that covers content like:

• Document structure and formatting 
• Color contrast
• Alt text
• Accessibility checkers

Participants will have time during this session to work on their own content and get assistance from trainers.

Please bring your UTA-issued device for live activities.

Staff and Faculty

In this one-day session, attendees will receive an overview of process improvement methodology and an introduction to process tools. Employees will be exposed to use cases through hands-on exercises to understand how methods and tools can be applied to groups and departments across campus.

Lunch is NOT provided. There will be a break from 12 - 1 for lunch.

Participants will learn how to manage tasks, track progress, and follow UTA-specific processes for communication, documentation, and project oversight.

Project Management Training is a two day course. Participants must also register for Day 2 of this training. 

Please bring your own UTA computer if available. If you prefer a training laptop be provided for you please email knowledgeservices@uta.edu at least 1 hour prior to your registered class.

Are you ready to take the first step in organizing and understanding your processes? The Process Inventory Workshop is designed to introduce participants to the concept and benefits of conducting a process inventory. Attendees will learn why inventories are valuable, experience a group Show & Tell featuring a team that has completed their inventory, and receive hands-on support from Process Improvement team members. The workshop encourages group participation and provides dedicated time and space for teams to begin working on their own inventories. By the end of the session, participants will have made tangible progress in starting their process inventory.
