[Tucked into the mailbox is a...somewhat large tin. If it were to be opened, they would see a variety of homemade cookies from chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, and even small spritz ones decorated in festive colors. In the middle of the tin is some small chocolates (sadly not homemade) with a note.]
Hello! I hope you like your present! Since I didn't know what kind you like, I decided to make several kinds.
[How Natsuru managed to hide this from Max is anyone's guess. But on Christmas morning, hanging on Max's side of the room, is a nice casual dress from the shop Natsuru (and Kobato) got many of her own from. Max will probably never know how difficult this was for Natsuru, or how much effort she actually put into this shopping thing for once.
On the hanger, there's a note attached, instead of a tag. It reads:]
I thought you might like something nice and pretty of your own to wear, since you seemed to like some of my dresses. I'm sorry if it's not quite right... I promise we can go out and exchange it, if you want! I'm not really that great at shopping for other people. Maybe we could go together sometime?
From: Your sister, Natsuru
[Max will also probably never know how much it means that Natsuru is so willing to shop with her, or describe themselves as sisters, rather than just siblings......]
