workinprogress(Sooooo sorry this is late. It's been a weird few weeks for me).
+ weird, possibly codependent relationships (not necessarily sexual). found families. work-'spouses'
+ slice-of-life stories, action/plot driven stories
+ us-against-the-world, on-the-run, post-apocalypse
+ hard choices and philosophical questions (save one or save millions, that sort of thing. Though not necessarily literally. I am open to either choice)
+ moments that define relationships
+ Tropes and inverted tropes
Generally, I do not have a preference when it comes to light vs dark (or heavy). I don't need my stories to have a happy ending (though I do like those, too).
I am open to smut and kink (though see below what generally isn't my kink)
I am also OK with AUs.
- depression, suicide, self harm and associated disorders/problems.
(I've struggled with both and have issues with triggers)
- rape, attempted rape, consent issues
- character bashing
- misogyny, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, racism and the like
- not my kinks: knotting, mpreg, lactation, humiliation, feminization, infantilism, things involving bodily fluids not generally associated with sex.
The Fandoms
The story of how they met would be an obvious choice. Or maybe any past adenventure.
Perhaps a flash into the future, when they're old and grey. Or the day one of them dies.
Just how far are they prepared to go to save each other? (Or unprepared, but they do it anyway).
5 times they're helped each other through a rough spot/saved each other (perhaps without knowing, even)
My main drawing point for them is their bond, how important they are to each other. I can see both the platonic side and a potential sexual relationship (or perhaps Dutch keeping them very carefully on the platonic path/one sided sexual/romantic interest because she believes she is poison - sort as the gender reversal of the usual trope).
How did they get there, what does that mean in practice?
Do feel free to add any of the other characters (also to a sexual relationship, including D'Avin if that is a thing you want to write).
I just love the idea of this universe with all these aliens living on Earth. Common immigration and culture shock/adjustment issues. What brings any of them (or at least a specific one) to Earth? What do they love/hate/find weird about Earth? How much do they know of other Aliens? Are there support groups? Do they have some sort of secret sign to make themselves known the others?
Or take me through a quieter but still whacky day with our favorite Agents! Invent a rookie. Or maybe they save Earth from another invasion.
How about a story from their childhood? Or hanging out together in the here and now.
Clearly, they've been formative issues on each other (like Jake getting his knowledge of what should be in a womam's purse from Gina as a model).
I'm good with both stories as whacky as the show but also them sharing a more quiet moment, somewhere.
Or maybe you're itching to write a full on plotty thing (perhaps Gina is trying to solve a case of their own, or Jake investigates a threat or a slight against Gina), that would be great, too.
I like all of the characters, so feel free to have any of them pop up all over the place. :)
