THE AWAKENING

...to a different time...

...a different world...

...a different dream...

You feel some thing cold against your cheeks; the stench of salt water fills your nostrils as your eyes open to see the sharp, piercing gaze of the mid-day sun. You have now found yourself washed upon a foreign shore, amongst the wreckage of what appears to be a crashed ship. Planks and barrels adorn the crystal sands around you as you try and take in your situation.

It is then, as you turn around, you finally see it:

A giant egg looms high above you in the distance, perched atop a lone mountain. You can see it clearly, as clear as the open blue sky. How did you get here? Just where is "here"? Is this really happening, or are you simply stuck in some sort of dream?

The real question you should be asking yourself isn't, "Is this a dream?" but rather...

"Whose dream is this?"
