A coding bootcamp is an intensive program that teaches you to program from scratch in a few months, with practical classes designed to prepare you for the working world.
No. Apprender is designed for people who want to start from scratch. You just need commitment and a desire to learn.
At Apprender, we offer courses oriented to software development. Depending on your preferences, you can choose between:
- Backend with Node.js, where you will learn to create web services, APIs and manage databases.
- Frontend with React, where you will learn to create modern and interactive web interfaces.
Both include a technical English course, focused on developing key skills for tech work environments: reading documentation, communicating in meetings, preparing for interviews and more.
It is aimed at people who are looking for an alternative to start their professional career in technology or professionals who want to reinvent themselves and learn programming to expand their job opportunities.
It lasts 4 months, giving you the opportunity to participate in a job fair that can be the window to your next job.
Schedules may vary depending on each program. We invite you to review the academic calendar available on each course page, where you will find updated information on days, times, and start dates for each cycle.
The bootcamp is completely online, which allows you to participate from anywhere in the world with internet access.
In addition, the classes will be recorded and will always be available for you to review them whenever you need them.
However, it is very important to attend live, as many practical activities and interaction spaces occur in real time and are key to your learning.
Attendance is mandatory: if you attend less than 70% of the classes, you will not be able to pass the course.
The start, duration, and end dates for each course should be checked directly on the academic calendar published on each course page. There you will find all the latest information about the cycles and their final activities.

With your well-being in mind, we have strategic partnerships with several international organizations.
Scholarships: Our current call for applications is funded by the Ecuadorian-American National Community Fund (EANCF).
Before completing the application form, you will need to have a short interview with our team. This interview allows us to get to know the applicant better, understand their motivations, and answer any questions about the process.
To schedule your interview, you can do so through the official EANCF link: https://www.eancf.org/es/scholarship, or by sending an email to: info@apprender.dev.
Application deadline: You can apply up to 15 days before the start of each course. The academic calendar with the start dates for each cycle is published on each course page on our website. We recommend that you apply as early as possible so that your application can be reviewed in time.
Once the application process is complete, an evaluation committee made up of EANCF representatives will carefully review all applications. The results will be published on the Apprender and EANCF websites.
Scholarships cover between 35% and 100% of the total cost of the program, depending on the applicant's profile and evaluation.
Upon completion of the course, you will have the foundations to look for your first job as a programmer, apply for remote and on-site opportunities, build your portfolio, perform well in interviews, and move confidently in real work environments, including technical English.
In addition, you will receive a certificate of completion endorsed by our sponsor, Smarttwigs, a U.S.-based tech consulting firm, which stands behind the quality and content of the bootcamp.
We provide you with an exclusive fair with companies and organizations (Benevv, Smarttwigs, Awana, Airpals, RealApp USA LLC) that are looking for talent like yours. That's why, within the English academic component, we have included a special module focused on helping you prepare to apply for job opportunities in this field: from how to apply to the key resources you need to stand out.
Currently we do not have a recognition that guarantees an Ecuadorian certification, as our certification is international in nature. So far, it has not been necessary for our students in most Latin American countries. It is worth noting that bootcamps are characterized by their practical and accelerated approach, prioritizing employability and the acquisition of real technical skills over traditional formal accreditation. We are opening opportunities in Ecuador and, if required, we will manage the relevant certification.
A university degree is a great option, but it is not always accessible or immediate. Our bootcamp is a practical and quick alternative to start working, generate income, and gain real-world experience. If you then decide to go to college, you'll have a solid foundation and clarity about what you want.
Also, outside the country, knowledge and practical skills are highly valued and this bootcamp opens doors to remote opportunities.
It is not easy, but it is totally possible. At Apprender we give you the tools, guidance and practice you need: live classes, exercises, real projects and support.
But it is also key that you do your part: real progress comes with constant effort, practice outside the classroom and self-study.
Free courses are useful, but many times they are messy or don't tell you where to start. At Apprender, we guide you in a structured way, with real support, constant practice, technical English, and an environment that simulates how people work in the tech world.
You don't just learn to program: you learn to work as a programmer.
You will need a computer with sufficient capacity to run Zoom, Node.js, Virtual Studio Code, and Postman, concurrently . If you’re not using a Mac or Linux, you’ll need to be able to run virtualbox with Linux, cygwin, or WSL 2
You will need a camera and it should be on throughout the course.
Enrolling is easy. Just leave your information and an Apprender specialist will accompany you every step of the way, from registration to the end of your course.
The course is 4 months long, distributed in 20 hours a week, 12 hours of specialty and 8 hours of technical English.
