Dr. Patricia McConnell, Ph.D., CAAB, is one of the world’s most respected applied animal behaviorists and authors, whose work has shaped how professionals and pet guardians understand dog behavior, communication, and the human-animal bond. With more than 25 years of experience consulting on serious behavioral problems, teaching at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and writing bestselling books such as The Other End of the Leash and For the Love of a Dog, she brings depth, insight, and warmth to every conversation.
