*dusts off dA journal*Long time, no journal post and few art posts. You might be wondering why. Well, there are many reasons why, but one of them is that I seem to have developed the beginning symptoms of carpal  tunnel syndrome. Sometimes, I don't have any symptoms for a while and suddenly, I start drawing and it's back in ten minutes. The last time I drew a little something, every five minutes, my fingers would go numb and I'd have to shake it out. The next day, I'd wake up several times, each time with one of my hands numb. Then they'll feel swollen all day. Not cool. It's really annoying, irritating, and frustrating. It shows up mostly...

After a bit of a scare about the nondelivery of my new Wacom tablet on Friday, the issue has been resolved. The package was delivered to a house adjacent to mine, with the same number, but on Southport instead of Westport. Good going, FedEx! I'm glad I located it, though. I was worried. My scanner arrived on Thursday, but I haven't set it up, yet. I have some school-related stuff to do this week, but I hope to sit down and get to know my new toys and post some new art soon.

I ordered a new scanner and a Wacom Bamboo Fun last weekend. The scanner should arrive today and the tablet tomorrow. I'm so excited. New toys! :D You can expect some updates after this weekend probably, once I have had time to play. It'll be so nice to use my scanner with my super awesome desktop. My old one is totally fine, but incompatible with Windows Vista 64-bit version, so if I wanted to scan anything, I had to get out my super slow laptop that runs Windows XP and it was just a pain. Old scanner will be going to my best friend's mom, since hers is broken and she runs XP.
