Another great way to get noticed is to post your artwork to as many groups as you can. The groups page can be found here; you can search for any medium, style, or fandom, and a group is bound to pop up. 
The best tool for getting your art noticed would have to be GetWatchers. They are an in-browser app that gets you views on your art by viewing others works!
