Hello fellow artists & art appreciators!
My name is Chris Williams, but I go by CdubbArt on all my socials.
For those of you who are curious, I'm a comic artist, writer and creator. After earning my BA in Animation & Media Arts in 2008 from the Art Institute of Philadelphia, I immediately began selling many commissioned works locally and internationally. Some of my notable published works include cover art for Big Dog Ink (BDI)'s "Critter" & "Penny For Your Soul", Kenzer & Co.'s “Knights of The Dinner Table”, Markosia's "Geek-Girl", Source Point Press' "Salvagers", "Franklin & Ghost" & "WarCorns" as well as a slew of other indie titles. I've also done promotional art for award-winning photographer, Nick Saglimbeni and his slickforcegirl.com site. While I'm not continuing various commission works or attending conventions, I'm currently working on my creator owned supernatural comic series, "SUMMONS". Be on the lookout for more to come! Your art is Awesomeness! You take the tropes of the Superhero comic book style, enhance and take it to places beyond, with dark fantasy, expressive willpower, healthy yet graceful physiques and firm forms of lines and shapes (amazing pencils and inks both), all with a touch of AniManga influence be it glowing tones or themes.
