The wife and I have settled on to a 10 acre homestead, and are working our way in to turning it in to a self-sustaining farm.  I spend much of my time day-dreaming about the animals and crops I could be bringing in.        I can't wait to get back in to the lifestyle I've missed dearly since leaving home for the army 11 years ago! 

I just realized my last journal update was in December of 2016.  I did end up going with other Veterans to the Standing Rock Reservation.  I have a few photos up under the No DAPL folder in my gallery.  I also wrote an essay about it, located on my Facebook photography page.  On May 1, 2017, I married my wife.  It's been amazing ever since, to know what it feels like to be in a loving and caring relationship, and living with someone who actually cares about you, and not just wanting you around because they're lonely and afraid to be alone. In September 2017, we moved back to Northern California.
