Q: What do you use to draw?
A: Mostly Paint Tool SAI 2 and a bit of Photoshop and Clip Studio Paint Ex, and a Huion Kamvas 16 Pro 2.5k tablet. CSP Ex for animation.
Q: Can I use or repost your art?
A: Please don't use my art for any purpose, unless it's for sharing only! You can repost outside of DA if you credit me properly, don't edit my art in any way and don't remove or crop out my watermark. Using my art for profit in any way or to train AI is strictly forbidden. Personal use for phone etc backgrounds is fine!
Q: Do you do requests/trades/collabs?
A: No, sorry!
Q: Can I draw your characters?
A: Yes!! Fanart is always welcome, just remember to tag me, I'd love to see!

(I'm a total stranger, I know, lol. But I found you're account one day when I was looking up open species horses and you're beautiful aequilla creatures came up for some reason, they're not open and I know that since I looked through to re-make sure about it on your profile.)
It was weird since that was a year ago, idk if they'll come up again but make sure that no one stole them, that happens a lot more on here than anywhere else in the internet. Only DA that has stolen species and stuff.
Oh, but when I first discovered you (I don't remember how), I saw your aequilla sketches and the run cycle. And I really wanted to make an aequilla OC or two (due to my brain being only focused on horse species and creatures only), then I saw that they weren't an open species to the public, so I just: Respected the rule and vanished into the darkness before I read the comic (shameful of me to not have read the comic I know, that's such bad behavior from another artist TvT)
But, here we are again!

That doesn't happen a lot to me actually, re-discovering someone that I really liked because of their art, it also made me positively more invested in drawing horses myself.
Ironically, you're the only person with a off-limits species that I wanna draw, but I can't since it's not allowed and I respect the rules. (I know about the fan art being allowed, I looked at your profile since the FAQ was right there. Haha!)
It just feels weird to me that people want to make ocs of something they don't even know the source material of, it's like making a pikachu oc without having any idea what pokemon is. It'd be different if it was for like a fan character meant to live in the source material's universe, but to just pluck that character/creature out without context isn't very respectful
And it's why I dislike crossovers sometimes, because they're literally plucking characters and mashing them in a different timeline not according to their own worlds.
I mean, as long as it's a specific time then it makes sense, but other then that- it does weird me out and makes me wanna say so many different things. I'm a nerd at heart but my diplomatic side is so aggressive for that reason.
(I prefers characters staying in their own worlds, not chilling out with other creatures, it's against everything we know about and very upsetting as well..)
I'm sorry to ask this, since I know you probably want to move on from that work and create new things. Is your Pokemon Nuzlocke comic available anywhere? As someone who has dealt with depression throughout my life, I found a lot of meaning in that work.
If not, that's A-okay. I was mostly wanting to re-read. Either way, I'm glad to have found it and wanted to thank you for sharing *all* of your work with us internet-folk. I'm loving Odrian Outlaws so far!
