Chromamancer

I recently thought it might be fun to try painting dragons into existing photos, as a way to practice working with some more realistic color palettes and tones... Instead of hunt around and try to find royalty free images, I thought I would ask you all, to see if any of you have photos that might need an additional dragon or two. ;)If I pick a photo to work with, I'll definitely cite the original source of the photo, too. So, if anyone has an interesting nature photo or two that I could use, maybe post a link. :) It might be a fun thing to try.

Well, I made my Alicorn print public on Shapeways. I've had really good, positive feedback from people that I've shown my printed version to, and some people seem to be interested in it. I just got back from my first trip to AC. It was a ton of fun. I ran into many awesome artists in the social area of things. :iconlindseyburcar: and :iconjourneyful: were especially inspiring to talk to. :) The Nordgard release went really well, too. Everyone was pleased with my artistic contributions. :DOverall, I'm rather inspired to get on top of things and become active again. I deleted some info stacks that felt unmanageable, so I apologize if I've missed a few comments since I was active, but everything feels all fresh again, now. :)
