When I was younger I would spend hours upon days working on realism, even when it was to be a surreal work I was anal on creating detail to be exact. Ego aside, I was quite good at it...technically that is. I hate realism imo and from my personal endeavors into it. It lacked any creativity for me and as said before, even when I worked in an enviroment that was to be surreal, I still found more emotions in passing a kidney stone than wasting my life making a work exact.
