this morning I woke up late (I always make a point of waking up late) and saw at the foot of my bed a strange feeling. it was standing there looking at me sleeping and waking. the feeling was strange because it was wearing a blue bow. a powder blue bow. apart from that it had no form no shape no color but an intense aroma of blueberries. I stretched my right arm to my right and felt for Simon. I patted the sheets carefully so I wouldn't make any noise. any noise would drive the feeling away I knew. but Simon wasn't there. I looked at the feeling in search of answers but the blue bow stood still not a single wrinkle not the tiniest of stains. so how can a perfect blue bow know anything about human absence. the feeling kept looking at me and I looked back embarrassed because I was really thinking of Simon while I believe that a blueberry-smelling powder-blue-bow-wearing feeling deserves all the attention in the room. in the house even. maybe in the whole neighbourhood. three smacking
