My Bio

"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."   Arthur C. Clarke.

Welcome to my sliver of the Universe... You can call me Al, just like the song.

Thanks for stopping by! Feel free to comment.
BEFORE YOU CLICK ON THE "WATCH" PROMPT, PLEASE READ THE NEXT PARAGRAPHS. OTHERWISE, YOU'LL BE BLOCKED!

I'm not interested in NFT's, you wanting to make a mural of my work, doing YCH art, and I'm too busy to take most requests or commissions. I'm not into fetishes, explicit sex, vore, and gore for gore's sake. If I don't like it, I don't, if I do, I do!

THIS ESPECIALLY MEANS PUFFED UP WOMEN AND CHICKS WITH DICKS! IF THAT'S THE ART YOU DO OR SUPPORT, I WILL BLOCK YOUR STUPID PERVERTED ASS!

I'm not into AI and I don't support artists who create "art" with it.

I try to thank people for favs but not Ilamas. I give one back and move on. If you don't want to be thanked, I try to remember that.
I also don't make a habit of watching back.

Why? Because I ended up with a bunch of watchers who never favor or comment on my work. Eventually I stop faving their work and then I unwatch them!

If I watch someone, it's because you create something that interests me. Sometimes I goof, and I watch people whose art doesn't interest me!

Lastly...I AM NOT INTO ROLE PLAY!

I have written fan fictions based on the old Farscape TV series. While it's not necessary to read them, if you truly watch what I do, you'll want to know what's going on. Things that happen in my stories are occasionally referred to from those fan fictions. I love readers.

After writing those pieces, I decided to start drawing again. It had been over thirty years since I'd picked up a pencil and sketched something simply for the joy and fun of it.

I drew a few pieces and published them here, then decided to combine my writing and art.
Thus, Gage came to fruition.

Gage and related comics are PG/PG-13 material. Adult situations, violence, partial nudity, and language! If you are easily triggered or offended by words or actions, this is not the comic for you!

James Casey Gage is an ordinary human with parapsychic powers. If only it was that simple!
Born in the late 1950s, he was a late bloomer at everything he tried. His dream was to fly in space, and then to rescue John Crichton.

He realized those dreams, when after surviving an alien invasion of Terra, another alien race repaired his body and added cybernetic implants to his brain and heart.
The implants increased his memory, allow him to think faster, and rejuvenate his body cells, helping him heal quicker and likely extending his life. His bionic left eye helps determine threats and triangulates a targeting system, among other things.

Despite doing a mind wipe to block his past, he is plagued with post-surgery pain and nightmares! Hoping to end those, he volunteered to go to another alien world and learn something called Jae-hi-nae. The term means, honor, sacrifice, and service. People who have been through the training are called practitioners.

He became an explorer looking for peace, with his navigator Roz.

In the fan fictions, he was the only human who wanted to go and deliver a peace accord to the Peacekeepers and Scarrans. He did that, and found John Crichton, reuniting him with his dad.

His detractors say he's too old, too grouchy and doesn't respect authority. He really wants to retire to go hunting and fishing!

But in another part of the galaxy where heroes are in short supply, he and his three female partners will rise to the occasion and find their own destiny.

Roz is a human brain, transplanted into a computer mainframe. Born with severe deformities, she was so intelligent that saving her allowed her to fly in space. In addition to her high intelligence and flying skills, her voice synthesis has a three-octave vocal range, and she plays a multitude of CGI instruments. But that's her fluffy side. She's also hardheaded, stubborn, sweet, and snarky.  She loves Casey for saving her from a droll life, showing her rock and soul music, and treating her like a human.

Casey's wife is named Jay'd. On the TV show Farscape, she was called Jool and was killed in a nuclear explosion. In my timeline Jool survived but was marooned on the planet for 26 years. Casey and Roz rescued her. She fell in love with Casey and treats Roz like a sister. The couple married so she could stay with him as they explore space. She loves Casey because she believes he is honorable, courageous, honest, faithful and he's the perfect lover! Casey calls her his jade green eyed goddess.

A horrific incident leaves Jay'd near death. As she recovers she takes the name Jay'd (Jade). Casey's effort to save her leaves her confused but more in love with him.

Tia is Jay'd's twin sister. She too is nearly killed but survives and becomes a part of the team. If it were only that easy!

The story is about romantic love, betrayal, honor, dishonor, family, sacrifice, peace, war, and whatever else I want to write about! Casey Gage must find a delicate balance between all of them!

Bathroom humor, occasional violence, sexual situations and Casey's sardonic /cartoon sense of humor and love of 60's and 70's music. The comics have adult themes without genitals.

Come travel the Milky Way with us as we discover new worlds, new alien races, make new friends, and maybe kill a few of the bad ones. It's all about survival. And James Casey Gage is a survivor.

"Fridging/fridge" is officially in the Merriam Webster dictionary! Where does Fridge come from? This use of fridge is attributed to comics/television/novel writer Gail Simone, who in 1999 published a list of over 100 comic book characters, all women, who were killed, injured, tortured, etc., on a website called “Women in Refrigerators.” The website’s name comes from an issue of a Green Lantern comic in which the superhero finds that his girlfriend has been murdered by a villain and stuffed into a refrigerator. The term is now used to describe when a female character is harmed, killed, or depowered primarily to motivate a male hero’s story or emotional growth — often without giving the woman agency or depth in her own arc. "Fridging/fridge" is officially in the Merriam... - ComicBook Clique | Facebook Apparently, it's something against women because they killed and get stuffed in a refrigerator. Why the fridge? In sense, it does seem like a cheap shot What it does is make things
