Warm rays of sunshine peeking through the trees, playfully dancing on my skin. Gentle gusts of wind blowing my hair back while we march on. As I finally feel my body cooling down for a second, a single droplet of sweat starts racing down my neck, sending shivers down my spine, goosebumps all over. Putting one foot in front of the other, I look up ahead, trying to block the sun with my hand, searching for the hiking maniac that is Olivia.
As my vision slowly adjusts, there she is, halfway up the rope, on the side of a 4 meter tall rock. A long-drawn sigh leaves my mouth as I get closer and closer to the wall, feeling it tower over me. I guess this is what happens when your roommate says they know a spot and you blindly agree to hiking at 6 A.M. the very next morning.

The passing days are swiftly merging into one big flaming ball of chaos and torment as I am kept from him. An empty thought, and idle stare. The dread of feeling lost, dazed, delirious, stuck in a haze, longing for just one touch, dying to be safe, in his arms again.

I remember his velvet touch, as if the softest of all cradles. The way his perfect fingers combed through my hair, slowly, in a weirdly seductive, arousing manner. I can once again feel my skin crawling for this magical stroke, longing for the feeling of euphoria that was once a given, the tingling waves of pleasure soaring throughout my body. I cannot wait for him to come again and grab me tight, give me his all, make me whole again. Distant are the memories of his loving embrace, his nurturing words, the way he would fill me with hope
