AWE Early Literacy Stations
Killingly Public Library has two (2) AWE Early Literacy Stations for children. "The Early Literacy Station™ (ELS), designed specifically for our youngest patrons ages 2-8, features over 4,000 localized learning activities. This fun, interactive, and engaging content spans all seven curricular areas: math, science & nature, social studies & geography, reading, art & music, writing & computer skills, and reference.
Public Computers
Killingly Public Library currently offers free public access to computers for educational and recreational use for patrons of all ages. Children under the age of 14 must have a signed permission slip on record to access internet computers. Children under 7 need an accompanying parent or guardian present while using our computers.
Public computer use is permitted to 1-hour time sessions, but extensions may be granted when possible.
There is currently a maximum time limit of two (2) hours for daily use.
