Hey, I'm Derek, I love pizza, 80s synth music, crew neck sweaters, my wife Kaitlyn, my corgi Lava and God. I've been in video production for 10 years. I wanted to create tutorials after having been self taught and helped by others that make tutorials, I wanted to share things I've learned and hopefully help some other people out there! Learning 3D can be very overwhelming and feel like you're never going to be good enough. I know. It can suck. But realizing that it's just a fancy techy way of playing with playdoh or legos or whatever haha choose your poison. What I'm trying to say is have fun creating, because that's why you got into it to begin with. The idea of creating something from nothing is just awesome and its easy to forget to have fun and enjoy it when it's 90% troubleshooting or things aren't going right. But hopefully with some tuts and a cool community we can all have fun making something outta nothing.
