Toolnation is an official Festool dealer. This means you are not only guaranteed to receive genuine Festool products, but also full support with warranty and service.

With proper registration, you can benefit from a warranty of up to 5 years on many Festool devices, consisting of:

  • 3 years of All-Inclusive Warranty from Festool, after registration within 100 days via MyFestool or the Festool App.
  • +2 years of additional warranty via Toolnation, on top of the manufacturer's warranty (provided the registration is completed correctly and on time).

Warranty Conditions from Festool and Toolnation

When you purchase a Festool device through Toolnation, you benefit from extensive warranty coverage. In addition to the statutory consumer warranty (2 years in the Netherlands), Festool offers a 3-year all-inclusive warranty, provided that you register the device personally within 100 days of purchase via your MyFestool account or the Festool App. Toolnation extends this warranty by an additional 2 years, on the condition that the device is correctly registered with Festool within 30 days.

1. What does the 3-year Festool all-inclusive warranty include?

  • Comprehensive defect coverage: Free repair or replacement of defective parts – or the entire device if necessary – for 36 months from the date of purchase (if registered via MyFestool within 100 days).
  • Wear parts covered under normal wear and tear: Including carbon brushes, ball bearings, and rubber sleeves, provided wear is demonstrably due to regular use.
  • 36-month theft protection: In the event of theft, you will receive a one-time replacement device for an excess fee of €125 excl. VAT (€1,000 excl. VAT for Power Stations). A police report and notification within 5 days are mandatory.
  • 10-year availability of original spare parts: If a part is no longer available, a replacement device of equal value will be provided.

Exclusions include (but are not limited to):

  • Consumables and accessories such as saw blades, router bits, sanding pads, Plug-it cables, etc.
  • Damage caused by improper use, overload, use of non-original parts, or modification of the device.
  • Devices purchased by rental companies or for resale.

2. What does the additional 2-year Toolnation warranty include?

If registration with Festool is successfully completed within 100 days of purchase, Toolnation extends the warranty period by an additional 2 years. This supplementary warranty applies only to purchases made from Toolnation on or after 01-09-2018, provided the device is correctly registered with Festool within 30 days.

Please note:

  • The Festool warranty is only valid if the device is registered personally via MyFestool or the Festool App within 100 days of purchase.
  • The additional Toolnation warranty requires registration within 30 days of purchase.
  • Each device must be registered individually.
  • In the event of a warranty claim, both the warranty certificate and the original proof of purchase must be provided.
  • The additional Toolnation warranty does not apply to pressure washers, combustion engine machines or pneumatic tools.
