Yuka

Yuka is an app that allows you to scan the barcodes on supermarket products to find more information about them. In addition to showing you the product's nutritional information, Yuka also provides details on its additives' composition and health effects.

See colors to classify product quality

To determine the effect a product has on consumer health, Yuka classifies the effects into four groups and uses a separate color for each: excellent (green), good (yellow), poor (orange), and bad (red). This color-coded information appears with an associated score for each product (between 0 and 100), as well as for the nutritional information. With this information, you can see each of their positive and negative effects.

Share the app with a friend and gain access to all areas

In addition to scanning the products, Yuka divides them into categories. They are divided into food and cosmetics. In both sections, three categories are available free of charge. If you want to unlock the others, you must share the app with a friend and get them to install it. After doing that, you will be able to view all product categories.
