@ledeuns I had some much backlog related to OpenBSD, and 1/4 of links are dead now and a huge chunk of the rest is almost obsolete ^^' I didn't have much content but at least I can start with a fresh backlog, the daunting backlog is gone now.

26.04 was released and all its derivatives as well. My Linux torrent seedbox is running at maximum speed, I downloaded all ISOs from the CDN to bootstrap all the torrents that are way too slow because there was a single source only.

Would you recommend a password manager at all for people that are not really familiar with computers or smartphones? I was thinking at pushing Bitwarden (because I have a vaultwarden instance), but this might be too complicated... Any experience?

There was a weird issue on the system, upgrades stopped working automatically due to a lot of .core files that filled the disk

Then, once I fixed this, there was a discrepancy between system perl and packages perl, I tried to rebuild things locally but gave up 😅

and it didn't repair itself with auto upgrades as I removed a package during my attempt at fixing by creating the packages locally :flan_hacker:

I had the chance to ride a gen2 Hayabusa yesterday 🚀

The riding position was incredible, and it was surprisingly comfortable! :goose_helm:

It was not a recent one, it had 78000 km and it looked brand new :flan_ooh: it sounded nice with its 2 akrapović exhausts. I've been very cautious riding this by the way!

I want one now, it was so comfortable and fun :flan_stars:

Today I had the opportunity to ride a Kawasaki Ninja 1100 SX

It was a real blast, I never rode anything like this. It was so smooth, so subtle and yet it was powerful :flan_aww:

Shifting gear was super smooth, the engine was not loud which was surprising, I was able to ride in a city in 6th gear at 1500 rpm and it was still ready to accelerate without having to downshift.

Pretty cool, Clonezilla can clone a disk with LUKS partitions, can ask to open it to only save the content* and not the whole bit by bit partition, the backup image can be encrypted**

The cool thing is that clonezilla will recreate the LUKS partition on restore and ask for a password for it.

Perfect for full backups of encrypted workstation without wasting storage space.

* of course, depending on your threat model, this might disclose the real size of the partition when looking at the backup image :flan_shrug:

** if you do not trust / not trust enough the encryption done by clonezilla, store the backup on an encrypted volume :flan_thumbs:
