• I love Astro, Hono, SQLite / Turso, Zod, Drizzle, etc., so much so that I created Freedom Stack. But honestly, I’m not sure of my favorite dev stack yet. Times are changing too fast. I’ve kept my eyes closely on Lunora and Foldkit. Now, there’s Octane!? 

• Matt Pocock’s Skills

• amp - Simplest agent harness. Orbs make it where I don’t really have to code on my laptop anymore. 

  • Cursor - Fast models. Grok 4.6 is good enough! Wonderful usage limits. Easy to use AI harness.

  • HumanLayer - Kind of like Matt Pocock’s skills but into a very easy to follow workflow. Helps me focus on the bigger picture things and create PRs people enjoy reviewing. Bring your own subscription

  • Claude - While I love Anthropic and have a friend who works there, I had to switch when Opus 5 became advesarial and began to push back a lot more on plans and doing work. 

  • Zed IDE - I still open Zed, but I’m trying to do most of my work in one plane, so I’m on a journey to use Cursor more.

• Macro - All in one office suite (including email) but with the beauty of Linear. OSS. 

  • Dotflowy - Custom-built OSS Workflowy alternative. Dot it down. Organize it later.  (Yes, I built Dotflowy, but… Macro is incredible, so I’ve shifted gears to contributing to Macro.)

  • Cora.computer - email managed for me, without the chaos, so I can know what’s important

• Voicenotes - Voice notes for personal, meetings, etc. And, voice to text!
