MADE ✕ Barbican
This new collection of home goods and furniture from British retailer MADE is nice, despite a typographical misstep in the header. (It's easy to type a X instead of using an × — I'm guilty. I have to look up how to copy and paste the latter every time.)

Jason Kottke, author of a wonderful website, recently made the leap to explore the world untethered. This involved sorting through all the things that keep one anchored, and the spice drawer gave him pause. His reflection stirred emotions.
I routinely consider the lineage of things around the kitchen — gifts from my mom, partner's mom, sister, brother, and friends — so many items I can trace to them, and every time I pause in gratitude.
