After a few years of using Linux, this year I started looking for the perfect distro for me, or at least one that meets a few requirements I look for in a distro. And in the end I landed on CachyOS, though I had to make a few compromises along the way.

I had my own Mastodon server at masto.host. Yesterday, I shut it down completely. It didn't affect anyone because sign-ups had been disabled - I was the only one on the server. Unfortunately, project priorities change from time to time.

I've been awake since 5:30 a.m. and I've put the third load of laundry in the wash, swept the terrace, and in the meantime I've been playing Heroes III. It's now 10:15 a.m.

For the past few days, I've been wondering whether to switch to Fedora, stick with Linux Mint, or choose something without Systemd, like Void Linux, and I still haven't made up my mind. If I were to give up Linux and switch to Windows - maybe it would be better, or maybe worse.
