C.V. Jackson is a writer located in Montreal and is a graduate from the Writer’s Studio at Simon Fraser University. Her work is featured in emerge21 anthology. Star Legacy Origins is her debut book.

Star Legacy was a fun and exciting read! I was reading the first chapter and I was immediately hooked on Miranda’s story and her perseverance to follow her dreams. I felt for her and her family struggles. I loved how her courage and kindness came through, even when things got tough.The story offers a mix of adventure, emotion, and hope, and the characters are so easy to love. I discovered superhero stories when I was young and I still have a weakness for them today. I know that I’m not alone. But have you ever wondered how those heroes got into the business or if that was their ultimate goal? In "Star Legacy Origins", Miri wanted to get into the super hero business, after all she had an ability and being a superhero paid better than most jobs. Money was a consideration to help support her family and to save for culinary school. Her plans didn’t include being a superhero for the rest of her life but this novella was just the start of the story. What will happen to her dreams as the series continues?
