Gloria X. Wang

I am a first-year Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, advised by Prof. Shenlong Wang and Prof. Nancy Amato. I am supported by the NSF GRFP.

I received my B.S. in Computer Science at UIUC, where I co-founded SIGRobotics. I have also spent summers working on VLAs and robotics infrastructure at Amazon Robotics, data analysis at Capital One, and LLM-finetuning at General Motors.

My research focuses on enabling robots to actively perceive, reason about, and interact with the physical world. I am interested in how robots can develop structured spatiotemporal memory to enable long-horizon decision-making and skill acquisition.
