Yff

I am learning Norwegian sign language. I wanted to keep a record of the signs that I learned, that was not present in Tegnbanken. Hence, I started tinkering with this concept.

The Yff-app mirrors Tegnbanken, aka. MineTegn, and gives me the possibilitty to record my own signs, organise them, and jot down notes. No data leaves the device and it functions offline. Backups may be exported and imported.

The PWA written in Svelte and Typescript is intended primarily for my personal use, but since others have also found it useful, I am leaving it publicly accesible. I am in no way endorsing widespread use of it. I am simply tired of Statped being underfunded.

Skrog

Behind the flickering logo on the webpage, is a well-oiled machinery configured in Komo.do.

Before Komodo, I used Vercel. My infrastructure move to Norwegian soil, in its entirety (that includes domain name providers), was finalised in early October 2026. Since then, it has been chugging along and kept my cloud services stable, amongst them my personal library.
