Bio
I'm a serial hobbyist, trying to have as much fun as I can, Some things I find stupid, and I probably will tell you, but I try not to be a dick about it, mostly I do manage that.
Anything I say is just my personal opinion or if it sounds really stupid, probably a joke. Yes I might have opinions that you don't like, and if you don't I'm willing to talk
about it, just be honest and decent and I will strive to do the same.
Anything I post on here is under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 If you want to use my posts for something commercial (LLM training, ad testiment etc) just contact me and I'm sure we could
make something out.

I will accept a follow if we have been interacting and you pass the sniff test.
If we haven't interacted, and I don't find much that we have in common in your profile or comments I will most likely not accept.
I'm not here to get "internet famous" I'm here to have some fun, and I'm being cautious for multiple reasons, so think about it before requesting a follow, or you might be surprised why I don't accept the request.

Still being a bit melancholic the last days and I'm not quite sure why when the weather finally is nice enough that it's good to be outside. Maybe it's just something that comes from me finally getting into the rhythm again after having had it break with my vacation, I don't know. I wish I was better at reading my own feelings so that I knew what to do about things other than grit my teeth and get through.
I've been having a lot of fun playing Dungeon Encounters the last couple of days, it's probably a game that not so many people would enjoy, it's a very minimalistic jrpg-ish dungeon crawler, I've been having a blast with it so far, it's at the same time very simple and very complex, I enjoy the minimalism in it a lot, for some reason it captures my fantasy, and I make my own pictures of things that are basically just 2 char hex numbers on a tile grid maze.
Kind of hit by the autumn ennui of the morning, I really enjoy autumn, but I'm feeling a bit weird, hopefully it will sort itself out again.
Finishing off a series of books, and rereading some favourites, then some more games and in a mood of kind of restless autumn comfort seeking, not quite found it yet, but I'm still hoping I'll get there soon.
Just finished a series of books (7) that I really quite enjoyed (Mandrake Company by Ruby Lionsdrake (Lindsay Buroker)) and I thought I would go on to do a reread of Eclipse the Moon by Jessie Mihalik as a palate cleanser after that, I just remember this book being a really nice comfort read from before, and I really enjoy how a neurodivergent character is treated as just a normal human, and enjoyed for who they are, and not a project to fix. Kind of what I need right now.
One thing about people setting their terminal to use vim shortcut I never understood, how much do they actually edit in their commands..
I've been having a lot of fun reading this year, and already now I'm getting close to what I read in total last year, sure, I've been reading some shorter stuff as well, so probably in page count I'm not that far away from where I normally am though. I've for sure enjoyed reading a lot this year at least.
I was having so much fun playing a bit of Rift of the Necrodancer yesterday, I cleared all the medium ones a couple of weeks ago, and the hards are really hard, but the beat maps are so much fun. I for once managed to keep my time playing down to only one and a half hour, and not go down a hyperfocus hole for that long.
I have found that for internal tooling, since I've set up a basic flask/gunicorn system, it's been my goto to just quickly code up some tool for someone, most of it just an input or two and a button, and then maybe generating a html table, it's maybe not the fastest thing around, but it's such a nice way to just quickly cobble together something to help someone with something.
Unilateral and immune leaders can only lead to suffering for most of us.
I'm to help a coworker automate some of their process that takes a long time, and maan, my brain is fried, really an overwhelming amount of steps and things to do.
At least, I think I managed to grab a point where I can start, then at least make one step easier, and maybe when I have done that I will be at a place where I can see a bit more clearly what to grab onto next, it usually helps at least having something done as a start, but man, this is going to be quite an interesting task I think.
And I really want this to be a help, not something that makes them have to do more or work in an uncomfortable way, quite a challenge for little me.
It's a mystery to me how people don't get radicalised lefties given the times we're in.
One of the things that really drove me off from the "progressive left" was the whole sensitive language thing, which I cannot really do, and often the elitist kind of looking at the working class as someone unable to have deep thoughts and treating them more or less like a "menial working ant" who just does work, don't think.
If some new technology is not the solution to a distinct problem that we have, it's more than likely just a new problem.
Lots of reading, enjoying the autumn, and driving trucks from Oslo to Istanbul, it's all in a week's work.
I'm getting this hankering to play some Euro Truck Sim 2 again, such a great game, and for some reason it tends to be an autumn game for me :)
I have been bit at least a bit by the silksong feeling again, I don't know how much I will play, but I just got the floating cape now, and the movement of this game just feels so good, it's just fun moving around, bossfights are fun and I'm just having a great time, also coming up soon is the fourth chorus which is a bossfight that just is a lot of fun as well. I'm having a great time with this again now :)
Some times I wish that the normies would have to mask as autistic for a week, and keep having to act als someone they are not to fit in in the world, that way at least they could appreciate how we constantly have to think about their feelings :/
Ooh Almost six and a half hour Into the Aether episode about the playstation dropped, very exciting :D
I'm really enjoying the current series of books that I'm reading (Mandrake Company), I also really want to reread a book that I've really enjoyed before (Eclipsing the Moon), for now I think I landed on continue on reading the series, and see if it starts to get samey and then jump over to read the older book as a palate cleanser.
