The indexer-only and indexer-backlinks-nostream builds therefore warned on both fields, which failed the feature matrix for everyone.
[tangled] hydrant: [identity] answer from every document the old path accepted Review of f21d382 found two behaviours the rewrite had narrowed, both reachable from `describeRepo` and the ingest path: - a document without an `#atproto_pds` service made `resolve_raw_doc` fail, where the old path only validated the document id. a deactivated or migrating account still has a document to hand back. - an undecodable `atproto` key failed the whole document, hiding a working PDS endpoint. an unreadable key is a missing key, and `resolve_signing_key` already reports that absence itself. Two more answers were wrong in both implementations: a 5xx from one PLC mirror ended resolution instead of failing over to the next one, and a `did:web` port, percent-encoded as `%3A` in the method-specific id, never produced a usable URL. The document is now parsed once instead of twice on every cache miss, which retires `ResolvedDocument`; `resolve_raw_doc` pays for the raw `Data` alone. A stored handle verdict is only ever positive, so it is just its own expiry, and `verify_handle` no longer claims to check a direction it leaves to its caller.
