8 months, 2 weeks - In today's Daily Fix:Microsoft has announced Wave 1 of its January Xbox Game Pass titles, and there are a few heavy hitters. Star Wars: Outlaws, Warhammer 40K: Space Marine, and Resident Evil Village are headlining the service. Resident Evil is particularly timely, considering Requiem drops next month. In other news, PlayStation has patented a new AI Assists feature that can take over if you're stuck in a game. The model can be trained on previous playing sessions or from clips posted to YouTube and Twitch, and can player progress on a granular level in order to understand what they're trying to achieve. And finally, Nvidia has introduced DLSS 4.5, with improved image quality and 6x multi-frame generation. Over 400 titles already support DLSS 4.5 and it will be available in GeForce driver update 591.74.

1 year, 6 months - In today's Daily Fix:The second half of this month's Game Pass games has been revealed, and the highly anticipated survival RPG Atomfall leads the charge. Subscribers are also getting the JRPG Octopath Traveller 2, co-op roguelike 33 Immortals, adventure game Mythwrecked: Ambrosia, and more. In entertainment news, the God of War live-action series has been greenlit for a second season by Amazon, but they haven't even announced the release date for Season 1 yet. And finally, Helldivers 2 gets a new patch and a new warbond, this one with a space cowboy theme. Also expect that new patch to make fighting the Automotons a little harder.

We got a chance to play it for a couple of hours and decided to go on a violent rampage through the British countryside. Atomfall will be available on Game Pass on day one, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Windows PC, PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, PS5 (PlayStation 5) and PS4 (PlayStation 4) on March 27, 2025. Set in the aftermath of a nuclear disaster, Atomfall tasks players with solving the mystery of what happened at the Windscale nuclear power station. To solve this, you will need to navigate military encampments, delve through abandoned bunkers below ground, and risk your life in Pagan ruins.Central to the dark mystery are the host of eccentric characters and cryptic organizations that inhabit the quarantine zone. These individuals have been cut off from the outside world for years and left to their own devices, so are anything but normal. But be careful, they aren’t all friendly and you will need to get to grips with an array of ranged and melee weapons if you are to survive!

1 year, 8 months - Happy New Year!  Now that 2024 is over, it’s time for us to look forward to what the new year will bring us. 2025 is looking stacked in terms of gaming. Not only are there some huge titles launching in 2025, like Monster Hunter Wilds, Fable, and Ghost of Yotei, there’s also likely going to be a new Switch console!There’s so much to be excited for this year and Max is going to go over some of the biggest games coming in 2025.

1 year, 10 months - In today's Daily Fix:Embracer, the mega conglomerate that owns the Tolkien license and publishes a slew of games from Factorio to Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, has provided a financial update on their recent games. And it's not good. The Epic Mickey remake sales were "slower than expected." Return to Moria, a Lord of the Rings survival crafting game, did well on PC, and was released on PS5 this year to decent sales, but it wasn't enough to stop the company from selling off Borderlands dev Gearbox Software, or Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 dev Saber Interactive. In other news, Infinity Nikki, an open-world dress up game, has a release date of December 5th. The game comes from former Zelda director Kentaro Tominaga. And speaking of release dates, Atomfall, the "British Fallout," will hit PlayStation and Xbox consoles and PC on March 27, 2025. It's also a day one game for Game Pass.
