Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Wiredd Vision website, customer portal, device integrations and related services (“Service”) operated by WIREDD VISION AND SECURITY PTY LTD (“we”, “us”) in Australia. By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. About Wiredd Vision
Wiredd Vision provides managed job site camera monitoring, including live viewing, snapshots, clips, portal access and APIs. Accounts are provisioned by Wiredd Vision for business customers; there is no public self-registration. Commercial terms for hardware, connectivity and monitoring are agreed separately with your organisation.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be authorised by your employer or Wiredd Vision to use the Service.
- You are responsible for keeping login credentials, API tokens and magic links confidential.
- You must provide accurate information and notify your administrator of unauthorised access.
- We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, security risk, or non-payment by your organisation.
3. Acceptable use
You must not, and must not permit others to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and workplace surveillance laws in your state or territory;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to cameras, footage, accounts, devices or systems;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by excessive automated requests or reverse engineering except as permitted by law;
- copy, redistribute or commercially exploit site footage except as authorised by your organisation and applicable law;
- use camera controls (lights, sirens, audio) in a way that endangers people or violates site rules or law; or
- misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
Business customers are responsible for site signage, worker notices and lawful deployment of cameras on construction sites.
4. Footage and intellectual property
Site imagery captured through Wiredd Vision is typically owned or controlled by the customer organisation that contracted the Service. We hold a licence to store, process, transmit and display footage as needed to operate the Service. Wiredd Vision software, branding, documentation and APIs remain our property or our licensors’ property.
5. Service availability
We aim to provide reliable connectivity and uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service depends on cellular networks, hardware, third-party cloud providers and site conditions outside our control. Maintenance, upgrades and outages may occur with or without notice.
6. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. You must comply with privacy laws when using camera footage that identifies individuals.
7. Third-party services and links
The Service may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies or practices. Integrations you enable via API or other tools are your responsibility.
8. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law and other applicable law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that footage is complete, continuous or suitable for any particular compliance, evidentiary or safety purpose. Camera monitoring supplements but does not replace on-site supervision, safety procedures or professional judgment.
9. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any non-excludable rights or remedies under the Australian Consumer Law or other law. Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special loss, loss of profit, loss of data, or business interruption arising from use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees paid by your organisation for Wiredd Vision in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or AUD $100 if no fees apply, whichever is greater.
10. Indemnity
Business customers agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and expenses arising from their unlawful camera deployment, misuse of footage, breach of these Terms by their users, or violation of third-party rights, except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this website. Material changes take effect from the date posted unless otherwise stated. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and federal courts of Australia.
