How these pages are written
Choosing a CRM means comparing products that all describe themselves the same way. These pages are our attempt to do that honestly, knowing that we build one of the products on them.
Every comparison follows the same four rules.
- We name where the other product is better, in its own section and in the summary table. Some of these tools beat Zero for particular teams, and the page says so.
- Verdicts belong to a section. There is no overall winner line, because no tool wins everything, ours included.
- Competitor facts carry the date we checked them at the source, and we re-verify monthly.
- We cite our own customers only where a published story backs the number, and we link to it.
Frequently asked questions
Is Zero a CRM?
Yes. Zero is a full CRM underneath, with contacts, companies, deals, pipeline and reporting. The difference is that agents keep it current, so nobody logs in to do admin. That complete record is also why the agents work: they can see the whole customer rather than a slice of it.
Why trust a comparison written by one of the products?
Not blindly. That is why every page concedes real wins to the other product, gives a verdict per section rather than rating ourselves first at everything, and prints the date each competitor fact was checked. Read the pages and check the claims against the vendors' own documentation.
Which CRM is best for a startup?
It depends on your stage and your motion. The incumbents fit when you have the headcount to run them. Across the modern field the real difference is how much manual work each tool removes, and whether sourcing and outreach are in the product or in a stack around it.
How often are these pages updated?
We re-verify competitor pricing monthly, and revise a page when a competitor ships something that changes the answer. Every comparison shows the date it was last updated and the date its competitor facts were checked.
