Eligibility
  • Anyone may participate regardless of experience level.
  • Participants may work individually or in teams of up to 4 members.

 

Fresh Builds

Projects should be built during the official hackathon period (August 8, 12 PM EST to August 15, 12 PM EST). Participants may only submit 1 project for judging. Submissions cannot be cross-posted from previous hackathons.

Using open-source libraries, frameworks, APIs, and publicly available datasets is encouraged. Existing personal boilerplate or starter templates are acceptable, but the core functionality of your submission must be developed during the hackathon.

 

AI Usage

AI is encouraged.

Participants may use LLMs, code assistants, AI image generators, and other AI-powered tools throughout the event. Please disclose which AI tools were used in your Devpost submission.

Original Work

You must have the legal right to use all code, assets, datasets, and media included in your submission.

Projects containing copyrighted or unlicensed material may be disqualified.

Submission Deadline

All submissions must be completed through Devpost before the official deadline.

Late submissions cannot be accepted.

 

Judging

Projects will be judged according to the published rubric.

Judges' decisions are final.

Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, plagiarism, cheating, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event.
