How large of a group of people warrants "all y'all"?
HAH! #GoToSocial doesn't sanitize BELL characters. If you fetch my last public post and print it to your terminal, e.g. curl https://goblin.technology/@lxak/statuses/01M17A08W8Y239TEA9SN640TYE, IT BEEPS!
I have no idea if this ought to happen, but it's amazing either way.
test message, please disregard
Can you hear that?
What's your excuse, jaywalkers?

Conjecture: you should caption a sneeze as [sneezes in Chinese] if that sneeze doesn't carry the expectation of someone saying "Bless you," "Gesundheit," etc.
Y'all also must get this earworm today for solidarity. Jinkx Monsoon performs "One Day More"

compiling #gts for the first time to try some cursed and unsupported shenanigans, let's see how this goes!
"Back in my day before everyone had #ADHD…"
Meanwhile in antiquity:
The term Noonday Demon is used as a synonymn and personification of acedia, meaning 'to lack care'. It indicates a demonic figure thought to be active at the noon hour which inclines its victims (most often monastics) to restlessness, excitability, and inattention to duty.
Main manifestations include the inability to stay in one place, neglecting the rules and duties, and general discouragement.

very rough overdub of a tune I wrote yesterday. who knows if it's singable, we'll find out Saturday!
Fun fact I learned at the telephony museum last year: Phone records were punched into paper, and at 3am, they would change the drums to the next day.
If your call spanned this time, the start and end records would be on separate drums. The PDP tabulating your bill then couldn't compute a duration, so that call would be free.
In the archives reading Quaker records circa 1770.
"disowned for disunity"
"disowned for learning the art of war"
"disowned for marriage contrary to discipline, to Rachel Iggings, his 1st cousin"
I got a 155-year-old book today for a SINGLE AMERICAN DOLLAR!
The text block is in pretty good shape. The marbled paper is mostly worn off the binder's board, and the leather spine is a bit cracked. I think some wheat glue, tissue paper, and new endpapers will do wonders.
Do shoes have chirality or... podality?
new post: I have a (better) website!
Also, I'm reflecting on when I made a website when I was 12 and gnashed my teeth on Yahoo site builder. By that standard I have all but self-actualized lol
Quaker group text
me: "I wish God used the Unreal Engine when He created the world."
1: "He used the Real Engine"
2: "He did if you're Gnostic."
